We invite you to join the Apereo Board of Directors online at 9:00 am EST on Jan 11th, 2023, for a discussion on the state of open source today.

We’ll hear from Dr. Cable Green, Director of Open Knowledge at Creative Commons, and Deb Bryant, former senior director in Red Hat’s Open Source Program Office and current policy director for the Open Source Initiative and Eclipse Foundation.

This session intends to provide the Apereo Board and our community an opportunity to learn about emerging trends, current issues, future opportunities, and potential threats from experts and peers working across open initiatives impacting higher education. These shared insights will help the Board understand the current state of open source, define Apereo’s direction, and assure continued support to our community, members, and projects.
